Common Questions Answered

Your Queries

We understand you may have questions regarding our services and processes. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions to help provide clarity and ensure you feel informed and confident in choosing us.

How does the DNA testing process work?

Our process is simple, non-invasive, and completely confidential. We collect your DNA using a quick cheek swab—no needles, no blood draws. The samples are securely sealed and sent to Choice DNA Laboratory, which is AABB-accredited, CLIA-certified, and CAP-accredited. Results are typically available within 3–5 business days and are delivered through your preferred method.

What types of tests do you offer?

We offer a range of DNA testing services including paternity, maternity and siblingship. Each test is designed to provide precise and legally admissible results tailored to your needs.

Are results confidential and secure?

Absolutely. Every case is handled under strict confidentiality. Only the tested parties (and their authorized representatives) have access to results. We comply with all federal privacy and data-protection standards.

Are results confidential and secure?

Absolutely! We guarantee complete confidentiality in handling your samples and results. All data is securely processed, and results are delivered digitally, ensuring privacy and protection of your personal information.

Do I have to come to your office, or can you come to me?

We offer both options. You can schedule an in-office appointment or request our mobile collection service—we’ll meet you at your home, hospital, attorney’s office, or clinic. Mobile testing is ideal for families, busy professionals, or cases that require extra privacy.

How much does DNA testing cost?

Our pricing is transparent and all-inclusive—no hidden fees. Legal paternity tests start around $395, while non-legal (peace-of-mind) tests start at $295. Each test includes collection, lab analysis, and digital results. You can view our full price list on the Book Online page.

Can my results be used in court?

Yes—if you choose a legal DNA test. Because our collections follow AABB chain-of-custody standards, the final report is court-admissible and accepted by judges, attorneys, and government agencies nationwide.

What’s the difference between legal and non-legal testing?

Legal DNA tests follow a documented chain of custody, meaning each sample is collected and verified by an approved collector and can be used for court, custody, child support, or immigration purposes.
Non-legal (peace-of-mind) tests use the same laboratory analysis but without the formal documentation. These are great for personal knowledge and family confirmation.
